Landis Valley Museum
February 2007
The day opened up with the ground covered in fresh snow/ice and a great blue sky so we decided to take a ride to Landis Valley Museum to see if they were open. We have talked about going there for quite some time but just never seemed to get around to it. Anyway, they were open so this became our first photo excursion for the season. There were classes in progress in some of the buildings so we were not able to go in. Still other buildings were simply closed for the winter. Our prime focus was exterior photography because we wanted to take advantage of the weather. A guide unlocked a few buildings so we could go inside.

Tech Notes: ALL of these pictures were taken with a Nikon D50 DSLR and a Quantaray (Sigma) 18-50mm lens. A circular polarizer was used for the exterior images. ISO 200 for exteriors and ISO 800 for interiors.
